Carrie Underwood 2014 CMA Awards Performance

Carrie Underwood Glows During 2014 CMA Awards Performance

Carrie is a woman of many talents! The soon-to-be mother not only hosted the 48th annual Country Music Association Awards, but she also took the stage to perform her new single, ‘Something in the Water.’ Did you love her performance?

Carrie Underwood can do no wrong! The 31-year-old American Idol alum stepped on stage at Nashville Tennessee’s Bridgestone Arena on Nov. 4 and absolutely blew us away with her amazing vocals (like usual!). Carrie definitely brought her pregnancy glow to the stage in her umpteenth outfit of the night, a floral nude dress while she belted out her hit song, “Something in the Water!”

Carrie Underwood’s Performance At CMA Awards

It was a huge night for Carrie. After her cohost, Brad Paisley revealed that she was having a baby boy, she took the stage to perform her brand new song — and it couldn’t have sounded better. She stood on a black stage with lights flashing and smoke everywhere — so romantic!

She was even joined by a chorus of women singing behind her toward the end. We’ve got to say, this look was one of our favorites too — that flowing gown was absolutely flawless and really bought out that pregnancy glow and baby bump!

When Carrie headed onto the Today show in September, she explained that the song had a strong message, much like her 2005 hit, “Jesus Take the Wheel.”

It’s a “joyous, uplifting song about changing your life for the better and waking up and having that a-ha moment and your life being different from that moment forward,” she said. The song is her first new release since her 2012 album, Blown Away and will be featured on her upcoming album, Greatest Hits: Decade #1. The two-disc overview of her career comes out Dec. 9, and includes her classics, “Last Name,” “Inside Your Heaven,” and “Don’t Forget to Remember Me.” Source
